Medieval panels, All Saints Church, Hilton
The panels on the walls below the tower are among the chief treasures of the church. They were painted in the late 15th century, in tempera, later touched up in oils. Originally they formed part of a very large screen in Milton Abbey but were taken down in 1774, restored by James Wyatt, and given to All Saints Church.
