NZ0102 : Booze Wood tunnel
near to Langthwaite, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Booze Wood tunnel
The view from the western end of this short tunnel (see photo of other end by Matthew Hatton NZ0101 : Tunnels In the Woods). It was constructed as part of the Booze Wood lead mine complex, but the reference book on the subject does not make it clear whether dolly tubs passed through the tunnel or over the top on the way to/from the bouse teams and crushing plant.
