A particularly interesting house in an interesting street. The brick frontage is mid 19th century, but this hides a much older 17th century house within. Beyond are the bowed shop windows on the ground floor of no.45, above which are 6 early sash windows. This property dates from 1693 and has not been updated like its neighbour.
