Pen-fynnon old farmyard
Pen-fynnon old farmyard
The old farmyard and buildings at the Museum of Childhood toy museum have been fully utilized for the displays. The farmhouse itself was built in the late C18 but these buildings are even older. That on the left was the Ty Hir, or longhouse, that would have housed the family at one end and the cattle at the other, the building on the right included the stable, hayloft, barn and carthouse all under one peg-beamed roof.
