A group of refurbished bogies awaiting new use at Boston Lodge. Each frame holds two axles, which have a little room to move sideways to accommodate bends of varying radius in the track. Each bogie is fitted to the undercarriage on a rotary pivot, the circular plate at the top. The springs on the side act as shock absorbers but also allow adjustment for camber of the track.
