I was wondering how this signpost had managed to survive outside in the town centre the Shambles, then why it included Barnoldswick 20 miles whilst pointing up a minor road. Then I saw the inscription on the circle at the top! (“North Yorkshire CC Pennine Cycleway”) A good reproduction of the old-style West Riding signpost.
