NJ3005 : Dry channel by the A939
3 km from Tornahaish, Aberdeenshire, Great Britain

Dry channel by the A939
The A939 crosses the hills between Glen Gairn and the Don valley at a height of nearly 550m. Just below the road is a steep sided and largely dry valley, looking suspiciously like an overflow channel dating from the last ice age.
