This track starts at Close Gate Bridge, and is shown on old maps as going to Short Grain House, but instead keeps to the top of the ridge and continues westward. Here it is at the top of a steeper section. It is a twin track, with a constant spacing. It might have been used to cart peat down from Oldgate Moss. It is curious that it is still quite clear whereas the path to Short Grain House has completely disappeared.
