Beaminster: The Square 2
Looking towards the Fleet Street turning, between the HSBC building and Retail Therapy. In 1870 Retail Therapy was occupied by an ironmonger, Toleman. The large shop to its left - and to the right of the memorial in the market place - was Stembridge, a saddler.
The bank is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 to 3.
The town owes its largely late eighteenth century appearance to rebuildings following major fires in 1684 and 1781
