Pub sign, Penuwch Inn, Ceredigion
Apparently you can can get your cwrw real here (though it was closed when I arrived, and I was driving anyway. I wonder why they don't say "real ale", or else put it into Welsh properly. One of the first recorded mentions of the term Cwrw - Welsh for beer or ale - was in the work of the Fifteenth Century bard, Lewis Glyn Cothi, and it was certainly all real then!
