A heritage line which preserves a section of the Great Western branch which once linked Yatton on the Bristol and Exeter with Witham on the London–Penzance route, via Wells and Shepton Mallet. The line from Witham to Shepton opened in 1858. Seen from the end of the platform at Cranmore station
