The railway station at Ramsbottom has undergone many improvements over the last
few years including the installation of cctv cameras after the station sufferred repeated acts of vandalism during the night when the railway was closed.
The station platform canopy was originally from the old Miles Platting station in Manchester and was reconstructed here at Ramsbottom in December 2006.
