is dug in deep beneath Craig Cnwch Glas, a rocky outcrop on the hillside above the bridleway at this point. The log across the river seems to have been put there on purpose as there aren't many trees around that could accidentally get tangled up like that. I'd be very hesitant to cross it, though...
