This is a Stanley Steamer, a US made steam car. They were very popular in the first two decades of the 20th century but then they were overtaken by the internal combustion engine, which resulted in much cheaper vehicles. So by the mid-1920's Stanley had disappeared from the market. This example is right-hand drive and is leaving a fine trail of steam.
