A flight of locks at Merry Hill Centre
Taken from the Dudley No 1 Canal near the Waterfront. Merry Hill was developed by the Richardson twins from the late 1980s on the site of the former Round Oak Steelworks. The largest problem in its early days was the lack of road infrastructure in the surrounding area.
