This is the new marina which is being built alongside the Huddersfield Narrow Canal on the left at Frenches Wharf in Greenfield.
The former Wellington Mill site will include a pub, restaurant, a small Tesco store and up to 100 "luxury homes".
Moorings for up to 18 boats will be provided in the marina, as well as service facilities for visiting boats using the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
The marina is currently fenced off until the new Marston's pub, which is being built in the foreground, opens early in 2009. LinkExternal link
