The map doesn't give a name for this delightful valley. The farm at the bottom is called Troed Rhiw Ruddwen Link , so the hill must be Rhiw Ruddwen and it makes sense to call the stream and its valley after the hill... The picture has been taken at the top of the valley, just under the bwlch that leads across to Llyn Brianne Link and Dalarwen forest Link . It looks a bit as if the track was surfaced, but it's just the underlying natural rock that gives the impression.
