SN7851 : Source bog of the Nant Hendre'r Dail
4 km from Ystradffin, Carmarthenshire/Sir Gaerfyrddin, Great Britain

Source bog of the Nant Hendre'r Dail
The boggy patch shown on the map as the source area of the Nant Hendre'r Dail Link
actually extends a good bit further up the slope of Pen y Gurnos Link
. The long tussocky grass is interspersed with watery ditches and holes, which makes progress rather slow. As so often in the Elenydd, a boundary fence can be a most welcome aid in negotiating the worst bits of bog.
