This is one of the easier Welsh llyns to reach, being approximately half a mile to the back of Pen-Y-Pass Youth Hostel. You are likely to have the place all to yourself as the crowds head in the other direction, towards Snowdon. The ground around the llyn is frequently wet and boggy underfoot.
