Roadside wildflowers
A deep roadside verge in Roskhill provides opportunity for a variety of wild flowers and ferns to flourish undisturbed.
I am grateful to Anne Burgess for identifying the flowers - the yellow stuff is Common Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea); the white is Queen of the Meadows or Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) and I'm sure I don't need to say that the pink spikes are Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea).
