Postboxes in the Town Centre (1)
These postboxes are located in Tamworth town centre. They both display the imprint E R which stands for Elizabeth Regina. Between the two initials E.R. are the Roman numerals depicting the number two, which signifies the present Queen of the United Kingdom is the second Queen to be named Elizabeth. As can be seen the initials have the Queen's Crown imprinted above them. The building behind the postboxes is St Editha's Church.
