Abandoned mill at Cragaig, Ulva
Abandoned mill at Cragaig, Ulva
This disused mill, with its still visible lade and millstones, lies in the ruined township of Cragaig, on the isle of Ulva. The village was abandoned in the mid 19th century after the landlord, Mr Francis William Clark, evicted his tenants by burning the roofs of their houses and driving them off their land.
