Ruined church at Kilkenny West, Co. Westmeath
On the site of a medieval monastery of the crutched friars, the former Church of Ireland parish church of c. 1840 is now roofless. Rev. Charles Goldsmith, father of Oliver Goldsmith, was curate here in 1730-47 and is buried in the graveyard.
