SN7864 : Afon Mwyro
near to Afon Mwyro [water Feature], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Afon Mwyro
At the head of its valley, the Afon Mwyro drops rapidly by about 30m over several rocky cascades. The narrow strip of rock uncovered by the stream shows how thin the soil layer is here. The northern side of the valley is mostly soft, regularly grazed grassland, although the immediate vicinity of the river is a bit boggy. The southern side is rough open grazing terrain.
