Ruined church tower at Kilvemnon, Co. Tipperary
This was a pre-Norman church that was granted to Kells Priory in 1195. The ruin and belfry were rebuilt in 1772. In the churchyard there is a vaulted underground chamber with a verse on a board (the monks of old helped the downtrodden peasants etc).
